Level 1 Drought Response Declared by Georgia EPD

The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) has declared that persistently dry conditions warrant a Level 1 Drought Response for 53 Counties in Georgia including Coweta County. It is always goal of the City of Senoia to be good stewards of our resources, especially water. The City encourages its residents to do the same. Please join the city in the following actions:

  1. Check for and repair leaks inside and outside of your home.
  2. Shut off the tap to conserve water when brushing teeth, shaving and washing dishes.
  3. Water landscape only when necessary and between the hours of 4 PM and 10 AM, be sure sprinklers only water the lawn not the house, sidewalk and driveway.

For more information about the drought response, please go to: http://epd.georgia.gov/water-conservation.

Volunteers Needed

The Senoia Welcome Center at 68 Main Street is in need of volunteers. Volunteering at the Welcome Center is a fun way to meet visitors and residents alike and tell them about our great town of Senoia! If you are interested, please call Welcome Center manager Kim Sullivan at 770-727-9173 or stop in when the Center is open between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. every Wednesday through Saturday.
